Gornal Wood Crematorium

Phased refurbishment and improvement works delivered within a live operational crematorium.

Works included upgrades to internal spaces such as the chapel, offices, waiting areas and toilets, along with enhancements to mechanical, electrical and ICT systems. External works comprised resurfacing, drainage repairs, new lighting and accessibility improvements. The project provided modernised facilities, improved visitor experience and long-term resilience while maintaining sensitivity to ongoing public use.
