Project completion at Twymyn Ward, Machynlleth Com Project completion at Twymyn Ward, Machynlleth Community Hospital. 👏

SWG Construction has completed the replacement of a sunroom and refurbishment works to Twymyn Ward on behalf of Powys Teaching Health Board / Bwrdd Iechyd Addysgu Powys.

The existing sunroom was in a severely deteriorated condition, with persistent roof leaks, damaged windows and internal finishes unsuitable for a clinical environment.

The project included the complete removal of the existing sunroom and the construction of a new, fit for purpose structure with upgraded foundations, steel frame and roof, full internal fit-out and associated external works. The new sunroom will provide a functional, compliant space which will greatly benefit the ward users for years to come.

All works were carefully phased and managed to ensure safety and minimal disruption within the live hospital environment. The project team would like to thank all patients, visitors and staff who may have been affected during the works for their patience and support.
