Do you know someone looking for a good career opportunity?

SWG Construction is looking for a Trainee Project Support Coordinator to join our office team in Welshpool.

This could be a great opportunity for someone who is bright, organised, confident speaking to people and keen to build a long-term career.

The role could suit someone at the start of their career, a college leaver, graduate, apprentice or someone with some office, customer service or administration experience.

The job will be varied and will include:
🟩 Answering phone calls and dealing with enquiries.
🟩 General office administration.
🟩 Helping our contracts managers with project reports.
🟩 Taking meeting minutes.
🟩 Organising training, accommodation, and meetings.
🟩 Helping with new employee inductions.
🟩 Keeping vehicle service and maintenance records up to date.
🟩 Chasing timesheets, expenses, and other paperwork.
🟩 Helping organise company events and social activities.

Previous construction experience is not essential. We are more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, good communication skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

For the right person, we may support an apprenticeship or further training route, with the opportunity to develop into a wider project support, office coordination, compliance, commercial or construction administration role over time.

Location: Welshpool
Job type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: Dependent on experience, qualifications and agreed training route

Students worked in teams to design and build bridges using limited resources, testing their strength and improving their designs. They developed skills in structure building, problem-solving and teamwork.
